Justified by LOVE (Grace) — S4 DEp10

Lady V’s Devotional Episode

Roman 5:8-11 Amplified Bible Classic Edition says:

“But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.

Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His [resurrection] life.

Not only so, but we also rejoice and exultingly glory in God [in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have now received and enjoy [our] reconciliation.”

Devotional

Sometimes in life, we question God when things don’t turn out the way we planned. And, we can’t see how anything good can come out of a bad situation. Then we sit and wonder if God loves us.

We doubt, we make mistakes, and wonder again and again—Does God love me?

Truth be told, God has already shown us that our lives matter to HIM and HE loves us! As a matter of fact, not only does God love us but wants a relationship with us.

The scripture foretells of the greatest LOVE that came through JESUS, the Son of God, by HIS grace.

You see, Jesus’ death on the Cross, HIS burial in the tomb, and HIS resurrection revealed the LOVE of God for us.

It didn’t matter what mistakes we would make. Nor did it matter who we were. Jesus went on the Cross for EVERY human life. He was willing to suffer greatly to bring us closer to God.

Actually, it was an act of sacrificial love by the shedding of Christ’s Blood for all that would believe. Believers would be justified by grace (which is the unmerited mercy and love of God).

LOVE came down to a perishing world and brought deliverance. God’s LOVE, which is grace, came through Jesus.

Notably, God’s plan didn’t seem like a VICTORY in the eyes of the world; but, HIS plan of Salvation was necessary. For all that would believe were justified by Jesus on the Cross. It had nothing to do with how good we are BUT how good GOD is!!!

Think about what Jesus accomplished. God wanted a relationship with us. And that relationship came through Jesus. Most important—JESUS IS the ONLY WAY to God!

It puts things into perspective when we start to wonder if God really loves us. He has proven that already by sending Jesus!

God’s LOVE is the greatest love of all. No one else would have sacrificed so much for us. God values us that much!

So much so, that HE took the time to make plans for our lives. The Word of God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11;

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome (AMPC).”

So, when GOD made the plan of Salvation to send HIS Son Jesus to die for you and I—It was a revealing of how much He loves us. HIS LOVE/ HIS Grace through Jesus Christ justified ALL that would BELIEVE in JESUS!

Ephesians 2:8 Amplified says,

“For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;”

Through Jesus, salvation is the greatest gift of LOVE. God has bestowed this free gift upon all that will receive HIS Son.

So Beloved, I know life for us can be hard at times. BUT— God IS still thinking about you and what concerns you!

God knows the number of hairs on your head Luke 12:7, New Living Translation.

Clearly, God is concerned about EVERYTHING!

Thus, take comfort in knowing that you are not forgotten. You are not alone. God is thinking of you right now!

You, me, we are greatly loved by God!

So, if you ever doubt again whether God loves you, let me remind you with the WORD of God.

John 3:16 ESV says,

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

God was thinking about you at the very beginning of it all. So much so, He secured your eternity in Jesus. If you believe in Jesus, you have eternal life with HIM who is LOVE.

Remember, God loves you! Keep looking ahead and keep looking up! JESUS IS COMING!!!

With that being said, REJOICE–you are JUSTIFIED by LOVE!

Let’s pray…

Heavenly Father,

We come to YOU in the Name of Jesus with thanksgiving in our hearts. Father God, we thank YOU for loving us so much. We thank YOU that we can always depend on YOU.

Father God, help us to be mindful of YOUR presence. Help us to seek you more and trust in YOUR great love for us.

And when we go through those tough trials of life—help us to depend on and lean on YOUR love and wisdom.

Your WORD reminds us that YOUR grace is all we need and that YOUR power works best in weakness.

So, help us to be led by YOUR Holy Spirit and help us to trust that YOUR WAY is best. Give us the wisdom we need for every trial and the grace to go through it,

For YOUR WORD says that we can do everything through Christ, who gives us strength. Help us to rely on the strength of Christ.

And Father, as YOUR Word is that lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path, help us to focus on Jesus as we go forward in every situation.

And as we put our complete trust in YOU—let the victory be manifested in our lives and YOU get the glory from it LORD! Touch every area of our lives with YOUR LOVING GRACE as we surrender all to YOU. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen, Amen, Amen.

Grace and Peace to you all! And remember that JESUS IS LORD!!!
