In this episode of Biblical Talks, we discuss Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector in chapter 19 of Luke. Generally, most people at a certain stage in their life has or will have the experience of feeling lost. Sadly, some people are lost and don’t know it.
But the good news is Jesus of Nazareth is in the business of seeking and saving the lost. And Zacchaeus is an excellent example. Why? Because many of the tax collectors were dishonest. Hence, they were ‘lost’ in the sin of deceiving others.
Moreover, the people of that time viewed Zacchaeus as the worst of the worst. again, because he was a chief tax collector.
