When one hears the word suffering, we can agree it is synonymous with illness. Even though people experience suffering in other ways. In this episode Biblical Talks, SD and Lady V discuss perseverance through suffering. Thus, the main passage referenced is Luke 22:39-46 New Living Translation.
Specifically, the Apostle Luke takes us to the Mt. of Olives. He describes what took place before Jesus of Nazareth’s arrest and crucifixion. Jesus knew He was about to endure tremendous suffering. So much so, that He fervently prayed asking Father God if there was another way to redeem mankind. Jesus ended His prayer with, “Not my will but Your will be done.”
