You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking.
It simply amazes me to think about it!
How thoroughly you know me, Lord!
You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place, carefully, skillfully shaping me from nothing to something.
You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.

When we look in the mirror, sometimes we can be our biggest critic. We see things we want to change about ourselves, and yet God sees HIS masterpiece. We were MARVELOUSLY MADE!
As God sculpted us in secret, a mysterious work of art was unfolding. Every moment was crafted to be a step closer to the appointed time that HIS latest work of art was to be revealed.
Oh yes; you were framed in your mother’s womb, with a plan already in place before your birth. And—guess what? God already loved you!
You were in HIS thoughts from the beginning. For God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.” Genesis 1:26a, NLT
You are not ordinary!
You see, your day of birth was not by chance, but an unveiling before all of Heaven. Another creation wonderfully made to shine a light on the Greatest Artist that would ever be.
God’s every spoken word, like a paintbrush to a canvas, always producing something beautiful.
That being the case, GOD would be the only ONE that would ever really know you—inside and out. God knows every layer of who you are.
Not only did HIS Hands create you, but God also shaped you into a marvelous created being. No two beings exactly the same; everyone uniquely made with love in mind and a distinct purpose.
And although we will never know the thought that went into every stroke of HIS pen; the finished product was recorded in the ‘Book of LIFE’.
Beloved, the next time you look into the mirror see yourself as a work of art. Remember that your life is more than just a single image. But, that you were made in the image of the MOST HIGH GOD.
You were MARVELOUSLY MADE!
