Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Devotional
We go through phases in life where trust is required to move forward. However, trusting can be difficult. Imagine that someone is asking you to jump out of a plane for the first time. And, you don’t know if the parachute will come out or where you will land.
It can be a pressing task trying to trust when you aren’t certain of what is ahead. Unquestionably, if we knew the future it would be great, however, knowing it doesn’t require faith.
God requires us to take a leap of faith! When we trust God, we are saying to HIM that we have faith in HIS plan, not ours. It’s not always clear what that plan is but the Word of God tells us,
“I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” Jeremiah 29:11, MSG
God is a gracious God, and HE longs to pour out HIS goodness on you. God loves you that much! You can trust HIM with your life because He created you out of love.
Remember in the beginning—GOD. You were in HIS thoughts from the beginning of creation. Furthermore, God has a history of honoring HIS Word. When God speaks—things happen!
Beloved, we have the ability to trust beyond what we think or see. If we keep our eyes on Jesus, [The Word], our trust will remain in the ONE who loves us. You can trust God even when you can’t make sense of things.
And when you trust in God, He will take care of you. Consequently, as you build your relationship with Jesus, you will realize that His faithfulness never ends and He ALWAYS lights the way.
Have Faith in God,
Grace and Peace to you!
