Spreading hope to our military is an absolute must. For the majority of Americans, the reason is quite clear. The United States affords its citizens a luxury that many countries of the world do not. And that luxury is freedom. As citizens, we have freedom of religion, thought, and expression. In other words, we are free to live our lives as we so choose.
Now, this is possible because of those who served and are serving in one of the five branches of our military. They put their lives on the line to protect our constitutional rights from all threats.
Of course, not just anyone is willing to put their life on the line for the rights of people they don’t know. For that reason alone, we should commend our servicemen and women.
In God We Trust
The United States national motto is IN GOD WE TRUST. It is even printed on our currency. So, to our military–Lady V and I say, thank you and remember to trust God. He sees your willingness to accept the call to service of our great country.
Romans 8:28 Amplified Bible says, “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” You see, God loves you so much.
Wars and rumors of wars
Of course, in a perfect world, every country around the globe would work well with America. But we all know that is not yet the case. Thus, the need for our armed forces.
Scripture even speaks of wars. Matthew 24:6 Amplified Bible says, “You will continually hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened…” Without a doubt, one feels a host of emotions upon receiving deployment orders. So, to the great men and women of our armed forces, we ask that you only entertain one emotion–HOPE.
Radiate with hope
You know, most Christians understand the significance of hope. In other words, hope also means to trust. Even more important, that trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ. Moreover, it is through Him that we can expect divine protection in every area of life, even during times of war.
I like what the scripture says about hope in Romans 15:13 The Passion Translation, “Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”
That is to say when you place your complete trust in God, He will have your back no matter what.

#TheSpreadHopeChallenge
Show your appreciation to a military family in your community. For instance, you could offer your professional expertise [mechanic, hairstylist, chief, childcare provider, or janitorial service]. Even a simple phone call to offer a listening ear could make life just that much easier while a loved one is deployed.
